I HAVE watched with amusuement Southend Council trying to justify all the expense and wasted time to widen the road at Priory Park to speed up the traffic.
Because just 500 yards up the road there is a more impressive way of slowing up the traffic, with two sets of traffic lights - one either side of a roundabout.
Annd all of this successfully manages to halt traffic in four directions with no trouble at all.
And this is on a dual carriageway, there does not seem to be much sense in this.
